Pigtail SC/UPC 12 colors OM4 0.9mm OFNR 3M, semitight from Red Cable Technology (RCT) is a twelve-pigtail set for terminating laser-optimized multimode fiber by fusion or mechanical splicing. Each 3-meter lead pairs a SC/UPC connector with OM4 multimode fiber in a 0.9mm semitight OFNR build, and the twelve colors keep every fiber identified inside ODFs, fiber terminal boxes, and distribution boxes.

• UPC (blue) polish with no angle — not exactly flat, with a slight curvature for better core alignment (APC connectors are green)
• OM4 fiber: aqua is the suggested jacket color; a further improvement to OM3 with a 50µm core; supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at lengths up to 550 meters and 100 Gigabit Ethernet at lengths up to 150 meters
• Laser-optimized multi-mode fiber (LOMMF) is designed for use with 850 nm VCSELs
• 0.9mm semitight (strippable tight buffer) construction: a buffer whose gap is not visible under 100x magnification, with no interstitial material defined as loose powder or liquid — at least 10 cm of material can be removed with one circular cut
